Nordic Controlling Manager to Alten in Gothenburg

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
As a Nordic Controlling Manager you will be responsible for the overall controlling for the Nordic countries. You will play a key role in the central Finance team as your responsibility is to ensure that the controlling processes run according to the budget and  group rules. You are leading the Alten planning team and you are responsible for the financial operating model follow-up on a monthly basis. Your ar a hands- on and participative manager. Your team will perform and improve detailed commercial analysis (pricing, cost evolution  and margin analysis). You have a drive to continuously change and improve processes and customer outcomes, and are able to navigate and lead in a dynamic environment. The position is located in Gothenburg. You have four direct reports and reports to the Northern Europe CFO.

Main Responsibilities

• Monitore the day-to-day activities within the controlling and invoicing departments
• Maintain an active collaboration with the business organization, presenting monthly results, reviewing the forecast and preparing specific analysis requested ad hoc.
• Manage month end reporting, and forecast and ensure that reporting to the group is done in accurate and timely manner.
• Prepare monthly analysis of the reporting package including P&L, KPIs evolution and deviations with Forecast.
• Prepare quarterly financial reviews presentations.
• Drive the continuous improvement of financial processes.
• Participate in the roll out of projects related to the group ERP
• Give proactive recommendations and identify risks and opportunities for New Business projects
• Coordinating the budget process together with the Management Team

YOUR PROFILE

• You have a Bachelor degree or Master of Business Administration
• Minimum 10 years experience in finance and preferable 5 years of experience from a medium to large B2B company in controlling
• Minimum 2 years as a Manager
• Background from a major audit firm is an advantage
• Proven leadership skills and ability to effectively coordinate across departments
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team and projects
• Commercial interest and strong Business Partner Skills
• International experience
• Experience from working in ERP and BI tools
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels and cross culturally
• Strong problem-solving skills demonstrating the ability to take on new projects
• Strong analytical capabilities
• Action oriented and persistent in execution
• Finish speaking is a plus
• Willigness to travel
