Application Engineer to Ewellix in Gothenburg

In this role, you will work closely with demanding customers to help them deliver first class value to the market, as well as being a central person internally and bridge the gap between Sales and Product Development. Key responsibilities

• To guide and propose the best solutions for the Customer’s applications or problems, where mutual value can be obtained
• To support the Customer with knowledge and specifications on existing solutions
• To secure, in collaboration with Customer, that design choices made will meet internal business requirements, such as stock turnover, lead-times, and cooperation with preferred suppliers
• To strive for a high level of re-use of existing solutions to secure speed to market and cost efficiency
• Take lead in customer product complaints to secure that they are properly assessed and strive to have problems permanently removed
• To secure excellent customer relations by regular meetings with key Customer counterparts and responsible Key Account Manager (KAM)
• To route efforts to other internal functions and coordinate inhouse activities and projects related to the Customer’s solutions
• To support KAM and the Product Management teams on new business and quotations, as well as on long term strategic product planning within the category

We also see that you have:

• MSc or BSc within mechanics, mechatronics or relevant equivalent education or experience.
• Explicit experience and knowledge in actuation technology is a strong advantage
• You are familiar with CAD drawings and calculations
• You have good electromechanical understanding, and a solid interest in new technologies, as IoT and Industry 4.0 is becoming reality more and more
• You have good understanding of automation and production flows
• Fluent in Technical Swedish and English, both writing and speaking

Additional information 
This position is located to Gamlestan, Gothenburg. The position requires travelling up to 30% and a Drivers license (B).
